FACTS
• The Siphon makes it easy to obtain a supply of drinking water for large groups.
• Makes carrying large amounts of water (additional weight!) unnecessary in many cases.
• This filter is particularly popular due to its simple handling and fast filtration without pumps. It is not necessary to
connect it to a tap: the Siphon can simply be placed in a container filled with water - at a higher elevation - or be
used with a water bag (see Katadyn Camp).
• The tried and tested ceramic deep filter removes bacteria, protozoa and other disease-causing agents. The principle:
The micro-organisms cannot pass through the mini pores of the filter ceramic (0.2 microns) because of their size
(greater than 0.2 microns = 0.0002 mm).
• Unlike disposable filters, the ceramic can be cleaned several times - even in the field.
