The Virustat purification cartridge purifies water on demand (no waiting). Highest safety level - removes bacteria, protozoa (Giardia, cryptosporidium) plus kills over 99.99% of waterborne viruses, as determined under the U.S. EPA. It is the only EPA-registered Purifier. The XR treats 26 gallons (100 liters) per replacement cartridge (4-6 weeks when used regularly).
