Replacement Gravidyn Element

The Katadyn TRK Gravidyn Replacement Element will restore your filter to working order. The field-cleanable .2 micron ceramic depth Gravidyn element set (3) will filter up to 39,000 gallons of water, keeping you safely germ-free. It removes or reduces bacteria and protozoa such as, VOC, bad taste, bad odor, chlorine, pesticides, lindane, DDT, and THM.

Microporous, silver-incorporated ceramic filters out particles, all harmful bacteria and parasites such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia. Essential minerals remain in the water. The high performance activated carbon removes unpleasant taste and odor such as chlorine and hazardous chemicals. Replace according to measuring gauge or every 6 months, whichever is sooner.

Gravidyn Katadyn Double Stage Filter Element

FOR GRAVITY USE ONLY
• Description: The Gravidyn is a microporous ceramic filter element with an inner core filled
with activated carbon granulate. The ceramic surface retains suspended
matter and bacteria without using chemicals. The inner activated carbon
granulate removes free chlorine and other organic contaminants, that
contribute to taste and odor. Filter can be cleaned up to 100 times. Due to
the surface of the activated carbon granulate a life time of up to 6 months in
use is achieved. To be used in gravity systems only.
• Safety: In the ceramic permanently incorporated Katadyn silver is working against
bacteria growth in the filter. Measuring gauge to control service life.
• Application: In gravity filters to provide safe fresh drinking water without line pressure.
• Function: Bacteriological depth filtration combined with chemical adsorption capacity:
• Flow rate: Depending on the gravity filter system in which the cartridge is installed.
Example: Katadyn Drip Filter: max. 5 l/h (1.3 gallons) and 20 °C (68 °F)
