PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Color: Medium to dark brown, typical of cooked beef crumbles. Odor/flavor: Uniform mild beef flavor with no rancid or off flavor and odor. Size: Random size, irregular round shape. The diameter is approx. 3/8”-1/2” with smaller crumbles. Extraneous matter: None 4. CHEMICAL: Moisture: 6% max Fat: 45% +/- 10% Water activity: <0.3
SHELF LIFE: Expected shelf life is one year in sealed, unopened factory containers at ambient temperature. Shelf life of up to 25 years in repacked, air tight, zero gas transmission container.
